Zakah on Inherited wealth

Q: Does zakah apply to inherited wealth or wealth that has reached the nisab and a full year has passed?
A: Yes, zakah is due on inherited wealth as long as it:

• Reaches the nisab, and
• Has been held for a full lunar year.
